mom's block...

...just wanted to share my mom's first block with you...she doesn't have a blog but is thrilled to be included in this challenge...as you can see, her 3rd color choice is a great pink/fuchsia batik...the pattern is called samurai squares...:

...mom is a breast cancer survivor so pink is a special color for her...☺...i think it's going to be a fabulous quilt, don't you?

Yes, your mom WILL have a fabulous quilt. What an inspiration to have chosen pink! I like it. With a mom, cousin and great friend all survivors, I have a lot of pink in my life, too. Tell your mom I said, "Rock on!"

I really like this block. The colors really grab you. Can't wait to see it put together. The design might look like an Irish Chain type pattern.
