NeAt!!!

Hello girls!

I haven't found what I'm going to make yet. I was visiting my friend Rachel's site and she found this site. I thought I'd share it with you because I already have made two projects on here with this challenge in mind. It's all moda fabric so sometimes a certain color doesn't have very much but it's soooo cool. Just go check it out.

Here.

PS I tried to show you one of my projects but it says no. Guess you gotta make your own!
Started digging out my black and white fabrics and so far have found these.

I made these little star blocks earlier in the year and have about a dozen of them done so far. They are very small blocks made with .75" diamonds for the stars. There are more ready to stitch, so I think this will be the first thing made for the challenge.

The Jane Austen quilt in black and white with a splash of ?? -- maybe red -- is something that keeps going through my mind. I'd love to make that quilt in a variety of colourways, but a black and white one has really captured my imagination. Now to find a black and white large floral for the centre medallion.

Howdy...

*waves* Hello from Maine... My name is Regi and I am very excited to be taking part in this challenge. Thank you Jackie for inviting me to join in on the fun.

I am looking forward to the coming year and seeing all the great projects we come up with. Everyone seems so very talented so I have to admit right up front that I am a relative newbie when it comes to quilting and sewing. I can sew a straight line and that is pretty much it. I have pieced one quilt top for my youngest daughter, am working one for my oldest child as well as some potholders and such for holiday gifts.

Currently I have no black and white in my fabric stash, but foresee a fun shopping trip in my near future.

I cant wait to see what people come up with, ... and know I will learn a lot taking part in this challenge.

Thanks again for allowing me to join you,

~Regi

Count Me In!

Hello! I am SO excited to be joining you!

My name is Doris, in Des Moines, I'm a quilter of about ten years now, a sew-ist for 20+ years thanks to Mom, and I already have my project...I first blogged about it here, in July. I think my third color will end up being lime green (my favorite!), a deep aqua, or hot pink, so undecided still! But the B&W fabric and pattern idea are ready to go!I will be jumping into this project as soon as all those Christmas projects are finished!

Thanks for the invite, Jackie!

Joining the Challenge....

Thank you Ms. Jackie for allowing me to join in the fun of this challenge!!

I have to admit I have wanted to do a black and white quilt for the past few years, but haven't found the right one to do until last week while I was at work (I work in a quilt shop).

So, I'm excited to join this challenge and here's my first project (unsure if there will be more, but I'm always open to opportunities!)....my favorite colors are purple and lime....well, I picked lime for this project and a pattern from Aktinson's Designs. I'm a fan of Mark Lipinski's, so the fabric selection is based off his Northcott line, with 2 blenders.

I hope to start working on this over the next few weeks, once Holiday items are done :)!
