Black and white and bright all over

I'm entering this as my challenge, although it doesn't quite meet the challenge requirements of black and white and one colour. This is black and white and bright , with lime green being the dominant colour and lots of others mixed in for good measure. It is 50 by 60 and still in the flimsy stage. I intend this to be machine quilted on a flannel backing, so it will be a cozy throw. I've been watching the rest of you do the challenge, and I couldn't limit myself to one colour. But I did collect b/w prints for the last several months, and cut into about half of them for this project. At last count, I used more than 50 fabrics in this quilt. Thanks Jackie for a great challenge, and for enlightening me in the path of black and white.

What's black and white and red all over?

My Baskets of News quilt. I started this well before this challenge began, but I won't be getting to my other b/w project for months, so I'm sharing this finish with you.

Cosy Ts

Brenda from Scraps and Strings here, with another little project in the challenge before I get to my big quilt. I was playing with b/w scraps for a tea cosy, so I made two, with lime green as the accent. I'm showing both sides in the collage, hence the four images.

Here's my black and white and red all over quilt in progress

Brenda checking in from Scraps and Strings, where I'm nearly finished hand quilting this wall quilt, which is a bit more into the reds than black and white, but it does meet the challenge requirements of black and white and one other colour. In this picture its just pin basted, and the words read" Black and White and Read all over." I'm looking forward to getting into the blacks and whites in a serious way in the new year, but first I'm going to finish this one and a couple of other UFOs. Thanks Jackie for setting a great challenge.
