Last month Aviva offered a stash of black and white nickels. I thought you might like to see this generous treasure that I started cutting into. Perfect for my scrap quilt! Thanks so much, Aviva!

B/W stash and ... a little bit more
Here's a pic of my b/w stash, with a few pieces added for this challenge. I've decided on my third color (deep tropical blue), but am wavering on the design itself. LOL! It's a good thing I have until the end of the year. Tomorrow, it's back to my "real" job, which is a bear -- I hope to be able to check in with you again next weekend. Stay safe! Sew well ...

Black and White and What Color????
I have accepted the Black & White Challenge and am excited about getting going. I just have one problem -- what will be my third color???? I was thinking bright yellow or maybe a lime green, but now I'm leaning towards a HOT PINK!
Here is a picture of my black and white drawer:
Of course, I just knew this would not be enough of an assortment of blacks/whites, so off to The Fat Quarter Shop I went. The following is my purchase:
Oh dear, now I have to select a pattern............Stay tuned to see what I choose.

My growing black and white stash

Thanks to Jackie for letting me join in the fun. I am the one who is lucky to be getting Aviva's black and white nickels. I sorely need them to add to my pitiful stash, as you can see, of black and white fat quarters. In the box are some that I've had for years, but they mostly read black. I recently bought a few more. The nickels will be perfect for me, as I'd like to plan a very scrappy looking black and white quilt. I haven't decided on the third color yet, though!
I actually do have a black, white and yellow in progress. I started it in a workshop at least ten years ago. After the workshop, I worked on it a little at home and then lost interest in it. I dug it out the other day and am considering finishing it for the challenge. I'm afraid to take a photo of it, LOL.

Black and White Challenge
I'm very excited to be joining this challenge-thanks Jackie! I always thought I had alot of black and white fabrics in my stash-some left from a b&w quilt I did in the early '90's and other bought since because I liked them but when I went to look for them this is all I collected! I eliminated any with other colors mixed it (turned out to be alot of them) including grey. Does grey count as the extra color :)
This is going to be fun and now that I know the state of my stash, there's a bit of extra fun in it for me: buying black and white fabrics :)
