I have been reading a new blog by Valarie
called Moda bake shop and there was a tutorial for briaided rugs.
Well I remember that as a child I used to watch my grandmother make these and I always wondered how she did.
Well with this wonderful tutorial I made a small one for my daughter to lay her feet upon when she wakes up in the morning .
It matches her college quilt.
One of the many things I am making for her new college apartment.
Whart a great rug! I will ahve to check out the tutorial.

Terrific rug and it fits the black and white challenge to a T! Don't forget to add it to the Flickr group!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I made a braided rug when I was about 12, out of sheets I bought from the thrift store and tore into strips. Don't know what ever happened to it.
